Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE), a prominent Dutch coffee and tea distributor, later expanded into an international beverage company with a high-profile brand portfolio that includes Senseo, Gevalia, Piazza d’Oro and many more. The Amsterdam-based company was using an outdated application to manage their master data. That’s why they wanted to replace it with a more modern version of the Winshuttle software. Pleasant partnership
In order to upgrade their outdated software, Jacobs Douwe Egberts was looking for an external project manager to assist with the implementation of Winshuttle. Tentive’s own Jeroen Aalten was selected, since he already had extensive experience with the software. During this project, Jeroen collaborated extensively with John van Schuppen, the Supply Chain Master Data Specialist at JDE International, and Peter La Rose, Global Master Data Specialist at JDE Joure. It was a pleasant partnership all around.
The benefits of Winshuttle
Winshuttle is a software-based solution for simplifying SAP business processes. The tool is designed to manage and control master data. Jeroen Aalten explains, “The major benefit is that it will make your business management much more efficient and effective. Plus, you have insight into all possible data at any given time, and the data will always be up to date. In this 24-hour economy, that real-time access is very important. Of course you can opt to manually manage your data separately for each department. But when that becomes increasingly complicated and data volumes keep growing, that is no longer realistic or appropriate in the current market.”
